If you’re like me, you have a drawer that collects plastic ware and often discards the lids when you’re not looking. Here are 3 simple steps for taming your plastic clutter:
- Match up tops and bottoms.
- Discard or recycle/reuse (perhaps as drawer organizers when you clean out your junk drawer) any items that don’t have matches.
- Group like pieces together, stacking bowls inside each other and placing lids underneath.
Designate a specific amount of space for the remaining plastic ware. Whenever you feel as if the space is becoming too crowded, evaluate what you really need and/or use. If needed, repeat the 3 step de-cluttering process to stay on top of your plastics.
