Organi-Spring Week 1, Task 3: Email Inbox
Alright, I know "thinbox" (that's thin inbox for those of you who don't know my love for jamming words together) sounds cheesy, but aren't you tired of an overfull email inbox? Do you open your email each day only to delete
20 messages that have collected there overnight that you have no intention of reading? Start the email
cleaning by unsubscribing or reducing the delivery frequency to lists with messages you often
delete without reading. Consider modifying your social media alerts so you receive less frequent email updates. Next, create sub-folders for emails you
regularly receive that you want to easily track such as "Bills,"
"Blogs," "Receipts," etc. Now when they show up, you
can easily categorize them when they arrive and locate them when you need
them. Taking these super simple steps to streamline your inbox will get you right to the good stuff faster!
There is a plethora of information about cleaning out your winter guck and letting the spring sunshine into your home, so we're focusing on those little things around the house that will give you a more organized home and perhaps a bit more storage along the way. Just 4 weeks, 5 tasks per week, around 10 minutes per task and VOILA! in around an hour a week the little things in life seem a bit more organized.
