Ahh, procrastination.  It's just so easy to say "I'll do it later" or "I'll do it tomorrow."  But all to often it becomes "I'll do it never."  From tiny tasks like dishes and laundry to larger projects like cleaning out the garage or the basement, we are really good at coming up with reasons why we can't, shouldn't, or won't do something right now.  Delaying the start or finish of a project can have it's place in extreme circumstances, but what gets us in trouble is delaying our projects due to a Toddlers & Tiaras marathon or just not "feeling like it."

When this "I don't wanna do it" mood strikes, try to think back on the last project you finished and how proud and relieved you were that it was done.  Remember how much easier it made your life or how much of a weight it was off your shoulders to finally have it finished?  Use these past victories to propel you into future projects.

Overwhelmed by the task ahead of you?  Remember to develop an attack plan and keep a goal in mind to help move you toward your finish line.  And if you still need inspiration, consider asking friends and family for help or even hiring a fabulous professional organizer to help guide you and be your cheerleader.
