When you hire me or any professional organizer who is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers you get not only my experience and knowledge but the experience and knowledge of a vast community of organizers from around the country and around the world. When I've been stuck on things like "what is a good way to organize quilting quarters?" or "does anyone know a local ADD counselor who take this insurance?" I take it to my colleagues at the national or state level and I've yet to be disappointed with their advice. I love the face that though we are technically "competitors" we strive to make each other successful.
Not only are other professional organizers a great resource but they were critical in the development of my business when I started out. The meetings are a fantastic source of education for topics related to organizing or running my business. The other organizers took me under their wing and invited me to work with them to learn their process and style. So much of what makes my business a success today is due in part to my involvement with NAPO.
